Portrait: Paige   Paige Easterling

Family:

Pat and I will be married 25 years on September  8, 2009, and we have three amazing children, Elizabeth, Matt and Garrett.

My life verse is:

Up until June of 2008 it was Jeremiah 29:11.   “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Since June it has been John 13:7  “Jesus answered him, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later on you will understand."

Saved:

I accepted Jesus Christ at age 9, but really started my walk in 1992 after my husband received Christ on our front porch when area church members stop by for a visit.

Nobody knows that I:

Was a Rodeo Queen

I am happiest when I:

Am able to encourage someone

One of the things I find most fascinating is:

How intimate God is with me on a daily basis and how I know His voice

The One Book (besides the Bible) I’d recommend to anyone is:

Let Prayer Change Your Life by Becky Tirabassi

My last meal would be:

Mexican food no doubt

I am most excited about:

Seeing what God has planned for me and my family in the next few years.

I am most scared of:

Out living any of my children.

My perfect day would be:

Hanging out with my family at our ranch in Hico, on the beach or in the mountains of Colorado.

In my free time, I would:

Want to start my day by sleeping late and then slowly drinking my coffee.  Usually when I have the chance to be alone, I can’t decide if I want to read, shop, piddle on the computer or take a nap.  If it is Canton weekend, I am there!

If I could do it over again I would have:

Trusted God more.  As I look back on my life, God has never failed me. If I could just continue to have that trust and faith as I finish out my life.

My favorite TV show is:

Grey’s Anatomy.

On my iPod is:

A lot of 70’s music, Praise and Worship and my favorite sound track from the movie,“Holiday”.

My proudest moment is:

Giving birth to my three children and watching them grow into amazing people

If I could I would learn to:

Live life without worry or fear

I could drink:

Sweet tea all day and every day.

My pet peeve is:

Losing things and running late

My favorite childhood memory is:

Hanging out with my little sister

One of My Greatest Experiences with God is:

Going through the journey of cancer with my husband, Pat, last year and see the amazing miracles God performed within our family.  The journey was tough but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.  God took cancer and it made it a gift.
