Portrait: Melinda    Melinda Crites

Family:

Husband, Cliff  and daughter, Cara

My Favorite Verse:

 Phil 4:13

If I could ask God one question it would be:

How do you decide when it is time to call people home?

Nobody knows that :

 I am very shy

I am happiest when:

 I am with my family

One of the things I find most fascinating is:

All the new products and gadgets people come up with.  How do they do that?

The one book besides the Bible I would recommend:

Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

My last meal would be:

Mexican Food, Italian Food, Steak and Baked Potatoes, huge salad.  I would want

A little of all.  I love food!

I am most excited about:

Our daughter graduating from college so we will have money again.

On my iPod:

I would have to borrow my daughter’s

My trademark expression:

Crossing my eyes-rolling my eyes-facial expressions

My proudest moment is:

When we adopted our daughter when she was 14 days old.

If  I could I would:

Travel across the United States seeing our beautiful country

I could eat or drink:

Diet Cokes and Cinnabons:  Imagine that!

My pet peeve is:

Too many people talking to me at one time.

My perfect day would be:

At the beach with my family and friends

My favorite childhood memory:

Our summer vacations.  They were nearly always somewhere in Texas, but we always had a great time, especially Corpus Christi.  Love just riding my bike and playing football with the neighborhood kids.  I loved hiding behind the couch when my older sisters came home from their dates and telling mom and dad everything they did.  I love my Sisters
