Welcome to “The EDGE”, FBC Burleson’s Preteen Ministry! The EDGE is for every 5th and 6th grade student who is interested in: learning how to have a relationship with God, making new friends, and having a great time. Click on the links below to find out specifics.
Sunday Mornings
9:30 AM or 10:50 AM
On Sunday mornings there will be both large group and small group time. and we will be studying three separate units: Heaven, Change and Our Family.
Wednesday Nights
6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Wednesday nights will be a fun time of games and Bible study to make friends and develop personal spiritual growth. This semester we will be teaching the kids how to have a personal "QT" - quiet time.
Please know that friends are welcome to come any time! We also welcome parents to come by and help out on Wednesday nights or play with us when we do outside activities. We will need chaperones when we take the children off campus. We offer free admission for the first four parents who sign up to go! Please keep in mind that preteens like to have fun--so that is what we do the most of!

Fall/Winter Activity Calendar
Adults needed for PreTeen Retreat
The Pre-teen Ministry needs your help for the Pre-Teen Retreat--"God's Heart for the World: The Amazing Race" on March 2-3). We are asking our church body to volunteer anywhere from providing a host home to decorating rooms or helping serve lunch. We have a spot for every type of volunteer! We will hold a short meeting after church on January 15th from 12-12:15 PM in the Chapel to further explain the various opportunities and allow you to sign up.
