Christian women's Job Corp (CWJC) is a life and job skills program ministering to women within their family and culture. Each participant will:
- set and accomplish appropriate goals
- accept the mentor support system
- dedicate themselves to the self-discipline of meeting program guidelines
The goal is to give women in need hope for a future where their dreams can become true and their families can live self-sufficiently. There are no age, ethnic, denominational or educational restrictions to enrollment. Enrollment of participants is limited only by a woman's desire and commitment to change in order to become self-sufficient. We offer a hand up, not a hand out.
Free life skill and job skills training - 12 week program. 8:30 – 12:30 Monday through Thursday. The purpose of New Journeys Christian Women’s Job Corps is to equip women in need with the life skills and job skills needed to provide for themselves and their families in a Christian environment where there is love and acceptance.
Job Skill classes: Microsoft Office Program (Word, Excel, and Power Point), budgeting and money management, Resume writing and interviewing skills
Life Skill classes: Getting along with others in the workplace, stress management, organizing skills, Personality profiles
