Texercise Your Right to Look and Feel Good!

Are you ready to boost your energy, but don’t have time for fancy gear or health clubs?  Texercise is the answer!  This statewide fitness campaign geared for the 60+ adult is a fun, practical guide to looking a feeling your best.

In the program, which begins Wednesday, Sept. 5 and lasts 6 weeks, you will receive a how-to handbook to help you experience lifelong health and wellness.  You also will receive a T-shirt and DVD of the exercises that you can take home following the last class session.

Think about this:  Everyone wants to live a healthy life, and look and feel their best.

Regular exercise and physical activity:

  2. Helps you boost your calorie-burning ability

  3. Helps you feel better

Keep in mind that fitness is an individual quality that varies from person to person.  It is influenced by age, sex and heredity, as well as by personal habits, activity level and eating practices.  While you can’t change the first three factors, you do have the ability to improve the others.
